Job Description:

BDO Al Nisf & Partners, Kuwait (“BDO”) is seeking to recruit bright and passionate individual who has relevant work experience and skills in Information Technology domain. The role will primarily involve managing IT Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Manager of IT will be responsible to drive the information technology and systems expansion at BDO Al Nisf & Partners, Kuwait. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, and management of the company-wide infrastructure as well as providing strategic IT planning and support to the company, and leadership and direction to the IT team.

  • Conducts enterprise-wide information technology planning by consulting with internal staff to identify and prioritize the information technology needs of the organization. Develops, coordinates, guides and maintains IT systems strategic and operational plans in support of the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Provides guidance and leadership on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of the organization’s information systems by evaluating alternatives, performing appropriate cost benefit analysis and recommending solutions that balance cost and acceptable risks.
  • Provides advice, counsel, education and service concerning issues and trends in the IT industry.
  • Communicates IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the organization and promotes and oversees relationships between IT resources and internal and external customers.
  • Develops and maintains enterprise IT policies and procedures to ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information.
  • Develops and maintains an enterprise-wide business recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of IT services in the event of a disaster.
  • Develops and maintains an annual operating and capital budget for network information and technology systems operations.

Required Skills, Experience, and Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience is desired
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience preferably with mid-sized service companies
  • Strong project and operational experience with Microsoft Technologies including Windows servers, O365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MS Clustering
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise server virtualization and monitoring technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new or emerging technologies
  • Ability to develop teams and lead people
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills as well as ability to make persuasive recommendations and formally present or report information to all levels of management
