BDO Tax Alert: Kuwait Ministry of Finance issues new procedures for e-communication

On 24 June 2020, Kuwait Ministry of Finance (“MOF”) issued Circular No.3 of 2020 setting out new procedures for electronic communication and filing. As per the Circular, all tax related filings such as filing of tax declaration, applications for tax clearance certificate etc. will have to be done by emailing the documents to a recently set-up email address of the MOF. The MOF will also start issuing its letters (normally in Arabic) by emailing the contact person or tax advisor of the taxpayers.
